Choose the right size for you

You should choose the size of your Hobby Horses depending on your riding purposes, your age and height. However, it is you who has to feel 100% comfortable with your new best friend.

S-size Hobby Horses

Size S hobby horses, also known as Sport or Small, are A4-sized or smaller, designed for two main groups: younger children or beginners, and competitive athletes. If you participate in show jumping turnaments for example, a small or middle sized Hobby Horse is more convenient than a large one as the bar is shorter and the head lighter.

M-size Hobby Horses

Size M hobby horses, between A3 and A4, are the most versatile and commonly used. They’re suitable for both casual and athletic activities, allowing experienced riders to participate in show jumping and cross-country. In dressage, M-size horses stand out for their elegance, with judges appreciating their larger, yet lightweight, build.

L-size Hobby Horses

L-size hobby horses, typically A3 or larger, are the biggest and most substantial. They are suited for older, stronger riders and are primarily used for pleasure rather than sports, due to their size and weight. Despite being less suited for athletic activities, L-size horses offer just as much enjoyment as smaller ones and make a striking impression. Moreover they are great for grooming and decorating activities.
